Providing You with Health Care at Home.

Getting older shouldn’t mean giving up the things that make you who you are. Live-in care can help you keep the life you know, all while getting the care you need.

Live later life your way

Live-in care gives people the choice to be cared for in their own homes. We’ll help you find an experienced and trusted carer who’ll move in, get to know you and how you like things, and provide truly personalized care.

Full-Time Care

The rate below is the usual cost of full-time live-in care for one person. This price should be used as a guide only, as rates are personalized to individual care needs. Call our care advisors for a personalized quote.

What is live-in care?

Live-in care involves a dedicated, full-time, carer moving into the home to support with care needs as well as domestic tasks.

It’s the new standard for elderly care, allowing your loved one to remain as independent as possible while remaining a cost-effective alternative to more traditional care options.

A live-in carer can provide support with a number of things – from care needs and support with medication prompting to housekeeping tasks and companionship.

If you’re looking at care options for a loved one but are uncomfortable with sending them to a residential or nursing home, live-in care could be the solution. Live-in care fees are often comparable with care homes, with the additional benefit of your loved one receiving one-to-one personalised care in their most familiar environment.

We know that deciding on the best care for your loved one can be a challenging task, so we’ve detailed everything you need to know about live-in care.

Better Care Starts with You!

SCM Care staff have developed a good relationship with my uncle. They provide good advice and offer suggestions and are happy to receive new information, likes and dislikes and tailor their service to include these. My uncle is treated with respect and dealt with in a very caring way."

Audrey Sellers

“My father and I were pleased with the professional services from SCM Care. All the staff were polite, respectful, and very helpful and understanding. They did a wonderful job and could not have done more to help.”

Arthur Milton

I was absolutely worn out looking after my partner at home on my own. From the first time the SCM carers came in, I felt as though a team of angels had arrived. Within hours I started to feel I was not on my own anymore. Sadly my partner died but my SCM carers helped with everything that had to be done with

great dignity."

New care providers to us, are very prompt and thorough. As I am quite houseproud I feel that they tend to be a bit clumsy with equipment. Do everything required. Always on time. Very pleasant and courteous to my husband who has dementia, Parkinson's, and is doubly incontinent. He is still getting used to

the new people but overall, I am satisfied with the level of care. Just extra care is required with wheelchair and frames etc. - negotiating doors.
